Kenny Boerner creates heartfelt music with a purpose: to inspire peace of mind, body, and spirit while promoting love, acceptance, healing, and healthy life choices.
His diverse sound reflects the music that shaped his early life—from crooners, jazz, classical, country, Broadway, and gospel to the Motown, rock ’n’ roll, and socially conscious singer-songwriter movements he experienced while growing up near Michigan’s Motor City.
A music therapist, social worker, and counselor for more than 35 years, Kenny brings compassion, hope, and a deep understanding of the human experience and spirit to his songwriting. He believes that regardless of faith, culture, race, gender, age, or sexual orientation, we are all in this together and should accept, support, and care for each other as one.
Career highlights include opening two Roy Orbison concerts, performing his original song “Tell Me Why” on the Jerry Lewis Telethon, and recording his original song “Just Say No” with a 100-member children’s choir for a Just Say No International fundraiser.
